Obituary of Jesusa R. Avila

Jesusa R. Avila, age 85 of Bridgeport, returned to the Loving Arms of the Lord on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport. She was born in Barrio Nuevo, Naranjito, Puerto Rico; daughter of the late Rosenda and Juan Rivera prior to relocating to the Connecticut area Many years ago. Jesusa was an extremely hard worker and excellent provider. Her generosity and giving nature will be missed by everyone who knew her. She is the loving mother of Marlon Avila, Norman Avila, Lynda Muir, Celestino Avila, and Blanquita Cruz; and the caring sister of Carmen Rivera and Hilda Rivera. She is also survived by many other family members and friends that will sorely miss her. She was predeceased by her siblings Florito Rivera amd Juan Rivera.
