Obituary of Angel A. Vazquez Guardiola

Angel A. Vazquez Guardiola, age 67, most recently of Bridgeport returned to the Loving Arms of the Lord, on Dec. 11, 2019 at Bridgeport Hospital. He is the beloved husband of Evelyn Martinez. Angel was born in Humacao, Puerto Rico; son of the late Angel Vazquez and Julia Guardiola. He was a humble and fun-loving man, who was always the life of the party. Angel was proud of his Borinquen heritage and was also a true animal lover - often feeding stray animals in his neighborhood. He enjoyed music, especially salsa and playing conga and any type of percussion instrument. Most of all, Angel loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Angel is the loving father of Tania Vazquez and Angel O. Vazquez; the father-in-law of Josue Cruz; the adoring grandfather of JJ, Jacob, Joseph, and Jaelyn; and the brother of Emirita Vazquez, Angelita Lopez, Andre Gardiola. Family and friends are invited to attend Calling Hours on Saturday, December 21, 2019 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home) 426 E.
