Obituary of Nereyda Gonzalez de Morales

Nereyda Gonzalez de Morales, age 67 of Bridgeport, returned to the Loving Arms of the Lord on Thursday, Nov. 28, 2019 at Northbridge Healtcare Center, Bridgeport. She was the loving wife of Roberto Morales. Nereida was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico; daughter of the late Jesus Gonzalez and Luz A. Rivera.

She is the loving mother of Johelia Montalvo, Herik (Monika) Montalvo, Robert A. Morales, and Alberto Morales; the grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; and the sister of Hector L. Gonzalez.

Friends and family are invited to attend Calling Hours on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019 from 8:30 - 10:30 a.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 25 Sherman St. Bridgeport.

Her interment is scheduled for Monday, Dec. 9, 2019 at 10 a.m. DIRECTLY at Mt. Grove Easton Cemetery, 1 Harvester Rd., Easton, CT.
