Obituary of Carmen Miranda

Carmen Lydia Miranda, age 73, the beloved daughter of the late Rafael Miranda and the late Nicolasa Hernandez has passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord on Sunday, October 27, 2019 in her home while surrounded by her loving family. Carmen was born in Camuy, Puerto Rico but had resided in Bridgeport for many years of her life along with her children and her family; Carmen leaves to cherish her memory her sons Juan (Nicole) Rodriguez, Jesse Abrams and Julio (Mary) Abrams; her daughters Iris Rodriguez, and Ivelys Jimenez; her spouse Jesus Abrams; her grandchildren, Isaiah Rodriguez, Alexa Rodriguez, Yarismarie Feliciano, William Feliciano, Jason Feliciano, Melaysha Jimenez, Mekayla Jimenez, Melyna Jimenez, Jesse Abrams, Jr., Tanisha Abrams, Jacob Abrams, Jessiah Abrams, Jayden Abrams, Mason Abrams, 7 Great grandchildren; her sister Nicolasa Miranda; and a host of other relatives and friends whom will sorely miss her; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, October 31, 2019 from 6-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06608; Funeral services have been scheduled for Friday, November 1, 2019 beginning promptly at 8:00 A.M. at the funeral home with a funeral service beginning promptly at 8:15 A.M. followed by interment in Mt.
