Obituary of Emilia DelValle

Emilia DelValle, age 74, the beloved daughter of the late Emilio Ramos and the late Francisca Perez has passed into the peaceful rest of the Lord on October 26, 2019 in St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport, CT; Emilia was born in Orocovis, Puerto Rico but had relocated to the Bridgeport area many years ago. She was a woman who loved her fellow man, a woman who had a heart for those in need and didn't care if she personally knew them, personally saw them or never saw them at all; She made sure she took out monthly from her budget to send to those in orphanages in places around the world she heard could use a hand, whether she received a promised picture or a promised profile, was irrelevant, she knew there was a need and she gave. She loved to spend time with her children; when someone mentioned the casino, she was the one declaring shotgun for the front seat of the car. her joyful persona was one everyone loved to be around. She enjoyed dancing and shopping but above all God had that place in her heart nobody could ever take.

Emilia leaves to cherish her memory her son Andres (Georgeanna) Delvalle, Edward Delvalle, Jose "Pito" DelValle and Antonio DelValle and one daughter Teresa DelValle; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends whom will dearly miss her.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her sons the late Benjamin DelValle and the late Jose A. DelValle;

Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, November 1, 2019 from 5-7 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT; Funeral services have been scheduled for Saturday, November 2, 2019 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home followed by a service in the funeral home at 10:15 A.M. and interment will follow in Park Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT;
