Obituary of Angel Burgos

Angel Burgos, age 61, returned to the Loving Arms of the Lord on Friday, October 18, 2019 at his Bridgeport Residence, surrounded by love. He was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico; don of the late Bienvenido and Monserrate Burgos. Angel proudly graduated from Bassick High School, class of 1979. He was employed at Bridgeport hospital for over 25 years prior to his retirement. He will be remembered as a kind and loving person, who was an avid Yankees and Cowboys fan. Everyone loved him, especially because of his generosity and caring nature. He is the caring brother of Norma, Carmen, Gladys, Silvia, Ruben, Antonio, and Carlos. He was predeceased by his siblings, Luz, Julio, Edwin and William. Friends and Family are invited to attend Calling Hours on Friday, October 25, 2019, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home) 426 E. Washington Ave. Bridgeport, CT 06608. Funeral Services have been scheduled for Saturday, October 26, 2019 beginning at 10 a.m. at the Funeral Home. His Interment at Lakeview Cemetery will follow.
