Obituary of Jose De La Cruz

Jose Antonio De La Cruz, age 77 most recently of Bridgeport, entered into the Eternal Rest of the Lord on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at his residence. He was the beloved husband of Milagros De LaCruz. Jose was born in the Dominican Republic; son of the late Jesus and Luz Maria De La Cruz. He was a dedicated and hardworking man, who made sure to always provide for his family. Jose will truly be missed. He is the loving father of Jose Augustine, Maria Milagros, Jose Antonio, Sarah and Rafael Antonio De La Cruz; the caring grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; and the brother of 3 sisters and 4 brothers. Family and friends are invited to attend Calling Hours on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home) 426 E. Washington Ave. Bridgeport, CT 06608. A Funeral Service is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. at the Funeral Home on Thursday, October 3, 2019. His interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport.
