Obituary of Carmen Ramirez

Carmen Lydia Ramirez, age 62 most recently of Greenville, NC returned to the Loving Arms of the Lord on August 20, 2019. She was the beloved wife of Lizander Rivera. Carmen was born in Yauco, Puerto Rico; daughter of Elba Rosado and late Juan Ramirez. She was a resident of Bridgeport for over 20 years. Carmen was a very friendly and very inquisitive "people person" with no filter, often asking questions some would never think to ask. She loved saving memories, and was in possession of an incredible amount of pictures and invitations that she had collected throughout the years, especially those she had of her children, who were always in her heart. She is the loving mother of Mayra Rodriguez, Hazel Rodriguez, and Walter Rodriguez; the caring grandmother of Danny, Wally, Jovi, and Juju; the sister of Lillian Ramirez, Magda Hernandez, Nancy Fairwell, and Miguel A. Rosado; and the aunt of 7 nephews and 2 nieces. She also leaves behind many other family members and friends that will sorely miss her.
