Obituary of Gladys Gonzalez

Gladys Gonzalez, age 78, currently of Bridgeport has passed into the peaceful rest of the Lord on August 29, 2019 in Bridgeport Hospital. Gladys was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico but had relocated to the United States many years ago. Most recently she was residing in Philadelphia, PA before moving a short time ago to the Bridgeport area where her family would invest their efforts and tend to her health which had been delicate. Gladys is the widow of the late Efrain Santiago Pabon who passed away just a few months ago and were two hearts that regardless of any distance, forever loved each other. Gladys is the daughter of the late Pedro Gonzalez and the late Maria C. Soto; She is survived by her Sons Julio A. Santiago, Efren Santiago, and Edward Santiago; her daughters Elizabeth Cancel, Carmen G Quiles, Elida Santiago and Esther Santiago; 20grandchildren, many great grandchildren and a host of nieces nephews, relatives and friends whom will sorely miss her.

Friends are invited to attend calling hours on the following dates and times:

Sunday, September 1, 2019, 3:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Ave, Bridgeport, CT

Monday, September 2, 2019, 5:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home.

Funeral services have been scheduled for:

Tuesday, September 3, 2019 beginning at 10:00 A.M. followed by a Funeral service all to be held at the funeral home.
 

Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT with an estimated time of arrival of 11:30-11:45 AM. to the Cemetery.
