Obituary of Lydia M. Gonzalez

Lydia M. Gonzalez, age 76, the beloved daughter of the late Miguel Gonzalez and the late Amparo Roman has passed into the peaceful yet glorious presence of the Lord on August 25, 2019 in Bridgeport Hospital, Bridgeport, CT; She was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico but had relocated to the Bridgeport area many years ago.  Lydia loved the Lord Jesus with every being of herself and loved speaking of God's infinite love and mercies for everyone;  Whoever met her could truly understand she was a woman of God who regardless if she knew them or not, you were drawn to the love and grace she shared at all times; She was an active member of her Church the Templo Pentecostal la Hermosa for many years.;  Lydia focused so much energy into her Grandchildren who she loved with all her heart;  She is the wife of the late Adrian Gonzalez;  She is survived by her son the Pastor Adrian Gonzalez;  her daughters Migdalia Gonzalez, and Amarillys Rodriguez;  nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren; her sisters Blanca N. Gonzalez, Aida Gonzalez and Luz Gonzalez;  her brother Miguel Gonzalez and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends whom will dearly miss her; 

Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 from 5-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT;  Funeral services have been scheduled for Thursday, August 29, 2019 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home followed by interment in Mt. Grove Easton Cemetery, Easton, CT
