Obituary of Julio Da Silva

Julio Americo Da Silva, age 82, the beloved husband of Maria de Fatima Da Silva, has passed away in St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport, CT; Julio came to the United States from Portugal where he was born, but had moved to the United States many years ago. He was a very trusted Jeweler with esquisite taste and he always had some really good quality, unique pieces of Jewelry that many purchased from him through his over 65 years in the industry. Whoever knew Julio, understood the good, honest and trustworthy business person that was always a pleasure to deal with. You always understood the product you were buying was not something you could find locally and also knew that you were being given a fair price for the items you would receive. A dying trade, yet one appreciated by many. Besides his wife Maria, Julio is survived by his son Jorge DaSilva and his wife Gina; his grand children Briana and Nicole Da Silva; his nephew Jack Goncalves; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends whom will dearly miss him. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 5, 2019 beginning at 10:00 A.M. DIRECTLY at the Our Lady of Fatima Church, 1890 Noble Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06608 Final disposition will be held in his Home Country of Portugal.
