Obituary of Maria Zacatl

Maria Fabiana Zacatl Mones, age 56, the beloved daughter of the late Cosme Zaca and Maria Margarita Mones has passed away into the eternal rest of the lord on July 24, 2019 in Bridgeport Hospital after her courageous battle with cancer. Maria was born in Mexico but had relocated to the United States almost 20 years ago where she worked to provide for her family. Maria is survived by her sons Emilio Azcatl and Andres Azcatl both of Bridgeport; her siblings Raquel, Cecilia, Miguel, Genaro, Leovardo and Josefina; her grandchildren Carina Azcatla, Mariela Azcatl, Vicente Azcatl; and a host of other relatives and friends whom will dearly miss her; Maria was predeceased by her daughter Mariela whom passed at an early age of 4;

Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 5-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06608;

Final disposition will be held in the municipal cemetery of San Bernabe Temoxtitla Mexico in her hometown.
