Obituary of William Freddy Gonzalez Vargas

William Freddy Gonzalez Vargas, age 77, the beloved son of the late Pablo Gonzalez and the late Petra Vargas has passed away into the peaceful yet Glorious presence of the Lord on July 23, 2019 in Bridgeport Hospital; William was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico but had relocated to the Bridgeport area many years ago. He had once again returned to Puerto Rico but most recently came back to CT where he resided since. William is survived by his sons Pastor Moises Gonzalez and his wife Quetcy of Bridgeport, WIlliam Gonzalez, Jr. of Bridgeport and Abel Gonzalez; his Daughter, Gricelida Gonzalez of Naugatuck, CT; his grandchildren Emenuel Afanador, Raul Serrano, Jonathan M. Gonzalez, Gianna, M. Gonzalez, and Alexia J. Gonzalez; His great grandchildren Aiden Afanador, Lorely I. Afanador and Nicolas Afanador;his siblings Elsa Gonzalez de Quiñones, Victor Gonzalez, Norma Gonzalez, Ada Gonzalez, Jorge Gonzalez, Jose Miguel Gonzalez, Ruben Gonzalez and Daisy Gonzalez; and a host of other relatives and friends whom will dearly miss him; In addition to his parents William was predeceased by his brother the late Israel Gonzalez, the late Eva B. Gonzalez, sister the late Gladys Gonzalez and one brother the late Pablo Gonzalez;

Friends are invited to attend calling hours which have been scheduled for Monday, July 29, 2019 from 6:30 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT;

Funeral services have been scheduled for Tuesday, July 30, 2019 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home followed by interment in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT;
