Obituary of Noemi DeJesus

Noemi DeJesus, age 59 of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012 at St. Vincent Medical Center, Bridgeport. She was the beloved companion of Angel Chevere, her boyfriend of over 25 years. Noemi was born on Feb. 26, 1953 in the Bronx, NY to Edelmira Hernandez and the late Cristobal DeJesus before relocating to the Bridgeport area many years ago. She is the loving mother of Luis DeJesus, Elsie Algarin, Carmen Pratt, and Helene Campbell; She is the sister of Guiso DeJesus, Cristobal DeJesus, Evelyn Fernandez, Gladys DeJesus, and Annie DeJesus; and the adoring grandmother of 11 grandchildren and great grandmother to 1 great grandchild. Friends are invited to calling hours on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home,) 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport. Her burial will take place on Monday, Departing Promptly at 10 a.m. from the Funeral home for interment in Park Cemetery, Bridgeport.
