Throughout all of the years that I have Known her, she has always been a very strong woman. She has been through a great deal of hard times in her life. From everyday struggles, to health problems, to the very painful loss of losing 2 sons and several other loved ones. Through it all she never gave up !! She fought her way through it and remained strong for her family. She loved her children, grandchildren, family, and others unconditionally. She didn't treat me as a daughter-in-law, she treated me like her own daughter and saw me through some very difficult times, as well as shared many great memories together. I am grateful for the time we shared, the love you gave me, and all of the love you shared with my son, (T. J. your grandson). You will never be forgotten and will live on in all of our hearts always, I think I can say for many of us, that when we think and speak about you, a joyful memory will always come to mind, and you will continue to bring a smile to all of the faces of your loved ones; Even now, as we know you are content, at peace, and happy now that you have joined your sons in heaven. As you continue your journey, you will be sadly missed, but your memory and love will be with us always. May you walk in the presence of God, (with your boys by your side) in eternal peace. I love you mom ♥️♥️♥️♥️

While I did not know Lydia, I heard how awesome she was through José.
She was a sweet, caring, loving, and sometimes, a downright scary (when she spoke Spanish) woman.
One of the funniest memories I have of Lydia was when I had some extra money that wasn't going to be used for anything, so I decided to spend some money to buy José an Xbox. Lydia basically said I was doing illegal stuff because no one in their right mind would spend that much money on just a random person. It happened again when I had extra money later on down the line and I decided to buy José a 3ds console.
I laughed so hard because I had never been accused of doing anything illegal in my life, but, she accepted the fact that I am just a generous person who likes to help out others.
I wish that I could have met her in person to show her who I was, but she already knows who I am now.
Rest in Peace Lydia.
