Obituary of Juana Roman

Juana Roman, age 88 of Bridgeport, returned to the Loving Arms of the Lord on Thursday, July 11, 2019, at Bridgeport Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Luis Roman. Juana was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico; daughter of the late Edward Osario and Josefa Garcia prior to relocating to the Bridgeport area many years ago. Juana will be remembered as a happy woman who loved going to stores, walking and dancing. She also had an obsession with hats, and loved a good cup of coffee. Juana is the loving mother of Luis Roman, Jaime Roman, Ramon Ortiz, Charles Ortiz, Vivian Roman and Ana Roman; the caring grandmother of 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to attend Calling Hours on Thursday, July 18, 2019, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Ave. Bridgeport, CT 06608. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Friday, July 19, 2019, 11 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 391 Ogden St, Bridgeport, CT 06608. Her interment will follow at Park Cemetery, 620 Lindley Street, Bridgeport, CT 06606.
