Obituary of Sergia Burgos Felix

Sergia Burgos Felix, age 80 most recently of New Haven, entered into eternal rest on June 11, 2019, at St. Raphael's Medical Center, New Haven. She was the beloved wife of Angel Santiago. Sergia was born in Humacao, Puerto Rico prior to relocating to Connecticut many years ago. She was loved greatly by her family, who regard her as the best mother and grandmother in the world. She possessed all of the best qualities; she was calm and loving but also protective over those she loved. Sergia was also an amazing cook and gifted singer.

She is the loving mother of Jose M. Burgos, Ruth E. Pascual, Luis A. Santiago, Edwin Santiago, Nelba Santiago; the caring grandmother of Lidelys Burgos, Jose M. Burgos, Ruth E. Burgos, Yesenia Burgos, Elixabeth Burgos, Luis F. Pascual, Gamaliel Pascual, Luis D. Santiago, Jada L. Santiago, Lizbeth M. Santiago, Kiara L. Santiago, Mary A. Sanchez, and Jose A. Sanchez; and the sister of Luis Burgos, Santiago Burgos, Bienvenido Burgos, Angel Luis Burgos, Efrain Burgos, and Ismael Burgos. 

Family and friends are invited to attend Calling Hours on Monday, June 17, 2019, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Iglesia Manantial de Vida 855 Grand Ave., New Haven, Connecticut 06511. Funeral Services begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at the Church followed by her interment at Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven.
