Obituary of Santos Leon
Santos Leon, age 60, beloved son of the late Elias Leon and the late Maria Cotto has passed into the peaceful rest of the Lord on Saturday, April 13, 2019 in St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport, CT; Santos was born in Cayey, Puerto Rico but had relocated to the United States where they resided in New York for some time prior to moving to Bridgeport where he has resided since. Tito as so many affectionately called him, was the life of every party and enjoyed dancing every possible song, but didnt want to dance with anyone, enjoyed each and every one by himself. He was "The cool uncle" all of the nieces and nephews looked forward to seeing because he had a natural ability to connect with children and they all loved spending time with Tio Tito; Whenever you ran into him, there was a joke to enjoy, and a contagious personality everyone came to love whenever you met him. Without a doubt, there is a void that Santos leaves behind, yet wonderful memories for his family to cherish for years to come.
Santos leaves to cherish his memory his sons Elias Leon, Kevin Leon, Nelson Luis Vega, Elvin Vega and Christian Vega; his daughter Cindy Vega, Kathy Vega, Tamaris Vega and Zamarisa Vega; his siblings Maria Saez, Gloria Ortiz, Virginia Leon and Carlos Leon; several grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends whom will dearly miss him. Besides his parents Tito was predeceased by his brothers the late Elian Leon, the late Gualberto Leon and the late Josue Leon;
Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Saturday, April 20, 2019 from 4-7 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave. Bridgeport, CT; Final disposition will be held in Park Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT privately at the convenience of the family.
