Obituary of Carmen N. Perez

Carmen N. Perez, age 82 of Bridgeport, returned to the Loving Arms of the Lord on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at her residence, surrounded by love. She was the beloved wife of Efrain Perez; her husband of sixty years. She was born in Quebradillas, Puerto Rico prior to relocating to the Bridgeport area many years ago. She is the loving mother of Edwin (Evelyn) Perez; the caring grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; and the sister of Felix Vargas, Miguel Vargas, Mario Vargas, and Gilberto Vargas. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends that will sorely miss her. Carmen was predeceased by her children, Efrian and Ivette Perez; and her brothers Jose and Vicente Vargas.

Friends and family are invited to attend Calling Hours on Monday, April 8, 2019 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home) 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT 06608. Her Funeral Service is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at the Funeral Home followed by her interment in Park Cemetery, 620 Lindley St. Bridgeport, CT 06606.
