Obituary of Jose Ramiro Santa Restrepo

Jose Ramiro Santa Restrepo, beloved husband of Evelyn Fernandez, of Bridgeport has passed away into the peaceful yet Glorious Presence of the Lord suddenly on January 3, 2019 in ST. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport, CT while surrounded by his loving family. Jose was born in Colombia but had relocated to the Bridgeport area over 30 years ago.  He just recently had obtained his documentation and papers he had longed for in order to validate formally his commited dedication as a man who moved here from his country to work non stop and provide for his family. He was sooo proud of his documents he couldnt resist but showing everyone he came across;  Not failing to mention he stopped at nothing to be the life of the party, for everyone to enjoy themselves wherever he was.  He leaves to cherish his memory besides his beloved wife Evelyn, one son, Julian Andres Santa Montoya;   his siblings Luis Carlos Restrepo, Jose Otoniel Santa Restrepo, Jorge Alberto Santa, John Jairo Santa, Maria Carmenza Santa, Juan Martin Santa and Gloria Esperanza Santa; and a host of other relatives and friends here and abroad whom will dearly miss him.

Friends are invited to attend calling hours that have been scheduled for Monday, January 7, 2019 from 6-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 East Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT 06608.

Funeral services have been scheduled for Tuesday, January 8, 2019 beginning at 9:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in ST. George Roman Catholic Church at 10:00 A.M. the Church is located at 443 Park Avenue,Bridgeport, CT 06604.  Final disposition will take place in Mt. Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT.
