Obituary of Bernadette Alix

Bernadette H. Alix, age 78 of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest on December 29, 2018, at her residence. She was the beloved wife of Ernest Romeo Alix. Bernadette was born in Providence, RI, daughter of the late Joseph and Germain Brunelle prior to relocating to Connecticut many years ago. She loved traveling, music, and visiting the casinos. She loved celebrating the holidays, especially Christmas, where she would bake amazing pies, cakes etc. Bernadette leaves a legacy of love, especially with her family and all the lives she touched during her 78 years. She is the loving mother of Ernest Joseph Rene Alix, Edmond Alix, Emile Alix, William Alix, and Robert Alix; the grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; and the sister of Andy Brunelle. She was predeceased by her siblings, Joseph Brunelle, Theresa S. Germain, Rita Hunter, and Margaret Alix. Friends and family are invited to attend Calling Hours on Saturday, January 5, 2018, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Funeraria Luz de Paz (Families First at Luz de Paz) 426 E.
