Obituary of Lorenzo Carballo

Lorenzo Carballo, age 88, beloved husband of the late Pura Carballo passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord on May 3,2018 in Bridgeport Hospital, Bridgeport, CT; Lorenzo was a man who had a heart of Gold. if you met Lorenzo, you loved Lorenzo; He had a way about him that would win over the hearts and minds of everyone he met. I (owner of the Funeral Home), had the blessing of meeting Lorenzo when he experienced the unfortunate Loss of his wife Pura, a loss he never was able to overcome, as his love for her was the strongest I have experienced in years. Lorenzo always wanted to make sure things were in order for every part of his life. Together with his wife, they did so much, unfortunately they never had children, but Lorenzo earned the love and admiration of his friends whom, along with myself will sorely miss him. We will miss the moments we had to share with him, miss the smile he had when things worked out, missed the heart he shared when we would speak with him, miss the stories of when he came here from Cuba. He always remembered every detail. He earned his wings on earth and deserved nothing but the best, but now, he has earned his place, next to his beloved, where he wished to be, but above all in the presence of the almighty. He is also survived by a dear friend whom he considered like a daughter Maria Figueroa of Bridgeport; Her children that he considered his grandchildren; and some other friends whom will, as we mentioned earlier, miss him dearly. On Monday, May 14, 2018, at 11:00 A.M. we will open our doors at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT, for anyone who wanted to share his final Viewing.
