Obituary of Iris Borrero

Iris D. Borrero, age 84, beloved daughter of the late Carlos Barrero and the late Monserrate Mercado passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord on April 10, 2018 in Bridgeport hospital.  Iris was born in Guanica, Puerto Rico but had relocated to the Bronx, New York, many years ago.  She is survived by her son Raymond Velez;  her daughter Mabel Velez;  her grandchildren Cristian Alvarez, Stephanie Ocasio, Raymond Velez, Jr., Francesko Ocasio, Isaiah Ocasio Anastasia Alvarez, Cristian Alvarez, Jr. and Isha Alvarez;  and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her.  Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.  An online register book via a Memorial webpage has been established as a place where you may share your thoughts, memories, prayers, pictures and so much more but is found EXCLUSIVELY at www.luzdepaz.com.
