Obituary of Zoraida Rios

Rios, Zoraida Rios, age 77, beloved wife of Jose Rios of Bridgeport passed away from this earth but immediately into the Presence of the Almighty God on February 27, 2018 in Bridgeport Hospital while surrounded by her family. Zoraida was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico but had relocated to the Bridgeport area many years ago; Zoraida served the Lord for many years of her life and today she enjoys the fruit of her labor as she is surrounded by his everlasting love and mercy. Zoraida leaves to cherish her memory her sons Jose M. Rios (Carmen), Benjamin Rios (Lily), Obed Rios, and Edgardo Rios (Ana); her daughter Aileen Rios Castillo (David); her grandchilden Jose M. Rios Jr. (Linda), Jacqueline Rios, Joshua Rios, Evelys Lopez (Jonathan), Elliot Rios, Xavier Rios, Andrew Castillo, Jacob Castillo, Aaron Rios and Ly'Nette Rios; her great-grandchildren Jose Miguel Rios, Joslin Rios, Amani Rodriguez, Annelise Rios, Xavier Rios, Jr. , Eliana Araujo and Janelle Diaz; her brother Victor Carrion;  her sisters Betzaida Flores and Julia Concepcion; and a host of other relatives and friends whom will dearly miss her; she was predeceased by her parents the late Francisco Carrion and the late Lydia Diaz; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, March 2, 2018 from 6:00 P.M. until the end of the Service (ALL SERVICES AT THE CHURCH) at the Good Shepherd Christian Church, 725 Hancock Avenue, Bridgeport, CT; Final disposition will take place on Saturday, March 3, 2018 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the Church and followed by Interment in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield, CT; Please sign our online Register book where you may share your thoughts, memories, prayers, pictures and so much more and is found EXCLUSIVELY at www.luzdepaz.com;
