Obituary of Rafael Velazquez

Rafael Velazquez, age 73, of Bridgeport passed away into the peaceful presence of the Lord on October 18, 2012 in Middlesex Hospital while surrounded by his loving family. Rafael was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico but had relocated to the Bridgeport area many years ago. He was the son of the late Marcelino Velazquez and the late Carmen Fernandez. He is survived by his brother Angel Velazquez; his sisters Benita Fernandez, Carmen Velazquez and Marcelina Velazquez; his nieces Maria Lyons, Maritza Velazquez and Jeanette Konasweski ; his nephew Angel Velazquez, Jr; and a host of other relatives and friends who will sorely miss him. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, October 21, 2012 from 6-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E.
