Obituary of Richard Carl Austin

Richard C. Austin, age 72, of Bridgeport passed away into the Glorious presence of the Lord on December 12, 2017 in Bridgeport Hospital, Bridgeport, CT. Richard was born in Bridgeport, CT to the late Daniel Austin and Rosetta Austin. He is survived by his wife Helen Austin; his son Joseph Austin; his daughter Danyel Austin; his siblings John Austin, Henry Austin, Juanita Austin, Elizabeth Harris, Christine Hamilton, and Barbara Laurin; his grandchildren Skylar, Tyler, Brooklyn, Daneal, and Ephriam; and a host of other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly. In addition to his parents he is also predeceased by his siblings Jesse, Daniel, James Vincent, Howard, Roseanne, Phyllis Courtney, and Christopher Austin. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m followed by a service at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 East Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT. Interment will take place in Lakeview Cemetery, 885 Boston Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.
