Obituary of Maria Lubriel

Maria Lubriel, 91 of Bridgeport, returned to the Loving Arms of the Lord on Friday, December 1, 2017 at Bridgeport Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Miguel Lubriel. Maria was born in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico prior to relocating to the Bridgeport area many years ago. She is the loving mother of Luz Perez (Rafael Perez); mother in law of Norma Lubriel; caring grandmother of four grandchildren Rafael (Glendy), Michael (Robin), Cindy (Ken), Chris (Natasha), and 9 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind a Miguel Torres whom she considered like a son.  The family will like to express their gratitute to their moms caregivers, Becky, Maria, and Irmania. Maria was predeceased by her son, Michael Loubriel. Family and friends are invited to attend Calling Hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, December 8, 2017 at Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home) 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT 06608.
