Obituary of Angelico Quiles

Angelico Quiles, Age 86, of Bridgeport passed away into the glorious presence of the Lord on November 25, 2017 in St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport, CT; Angelico was born in Lares, Puerto Rico but had relocated to the Bridgeport area at an early age and resided here since. Angelico is the beloved widower of the Late Maria Quiles. He is the son of the late Rafael Quiles Pitre and the late Carmen Ramos Quiles; He was employed at many companies in Bridgeport but his last employment was at Sikorsky Aircraft where he retired from after 35 years. As a musician, He enjoyed playing guitar and the cuatro (spanish Guitar) and listening to the music of his era. He was a carpenter and even became a broadcaster for some time on 1530 AM in the early 1990's. He enjoyed reading and above all committed his life to Jesus at the Iglesia de Cristo A.D. and served God in the same church since. Angelico is survived by his son Angelico Quiles, Jr. and his wife Maria of Bridgeport; His daughter Evelyn Quiles Quesada and her husband Richard of Bridgeport; His brothers Ismael, Arcadio (Callo), Daniel and Ramon Quiles; His sister Carmen Quiles; his grandchildren Joshua Gonzalez, Samuel Gonzalez, Richard Quesada, Nathaniel Quiles, Gabriel Quiles, and Michael Quiles; his great grandchildren Joshua, Jr., Isaac, Tatiana, Jezlyne, Leilani and his most recently born great grandchild Noah; and a host of other relatives and friends whom will dearly miss him. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 from 6-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 East Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT; Funeral services have been scheduled for Thursday, November 30, 2017 beginning at 10:00 A.M.
