Obituary of Aline Doss

Aline Doss, 69, of Bridgeport, CT entered eternal rest on Wednesday, November 15th 2017 at 5:08 am in Bridgeport Hospital with her husband, Robert, by her side. Born in Elizabeth City, North Carolina to the late Nathan and Jean Sledge, Aline has been a resident of Bridgeport for over 30 years. She recently retired from the Bridge Academy where she was employed for over 20 years. She was also a previously employed by the Archdioceses of Chicago and Hartford school systems.

She leaves to cherish her wonderful spirit and love, her loving husband of 47 years, Robert N. Doss III, her son and daughter-in-law, Robert N. Doss IV and Maribel Doss of Woodinville, WA, her daughter and son-in-law, Daria and Lamar J. Fedrick of Sanford, NC, three grandchildren, Lamar J. Fedrick Jr., Brittani Fedrick and Robert N. Doss V, two sister-in-law’s, Delores Parker of Hyattsville, MD and Gloria Burke (Eli) of Richmond, WA and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Blessed Sacrament Church, 275 Union Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06607. Viewing will take place from 9:00-10:00 am with service to follow. Interment at Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT. Family will receive friends at Bridge Academy, 160 Pulaski Street, Bridgeport, CT 06608 immediately following the interment.
