Obituary of Margarita Bellon

Margarita Bellon, age 72, beloved widow of the late Angel Bellon went to rest with the Lord on Saturday, October 6, 2012 in St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport, CT; Margarita was born in the Dominican Republic but had relocated to the United States since the early 60's. Margarita was the first President of the Dominican Social Club; she was part of the Comite de Damas of the Cafe Bustelo Baseball team since back in the 1970's; She loved to cook for her family and was infamous for her unparalleled Sancocho; let us not fail to mention her faithfulness to cooking Yuka for the baseball team throughout the years. She is survived by her son Angel Bellon of Trumbull; her daughter Angela Bellon of Bridgeport; her brother Santiago Lugo, Vicente Merino and Justo Lugo; her sister Isaura Merino; her Special Sister in Law Sior Rivera; eight Grandchildren and six great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her brother the late Ezekiel Lugo; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz ( Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E.
