Obituary of Rocio Smyth

Rocio Smyth, age 52 of Norwalk, entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 31, 2017 at Yale New Haven Hospital, New Haven, CT. She is the beloved wife of Brendan Smyth. She was born in Mexico to Domingo Madariaga and Juana Gloria de la Rosa. In addition to her spouse and parents she is also survived by her stepson Brendan Smyth; her brothers Oscar D. Madariaga, Carlos Madariaga, and David Madariaga; her sisters Gloria L. and Olivia Madariaga; and a host of other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, August 7, 2017 from 7-9 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home) 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT. Funeral Services have been scheduled for Tuesday, August 8, 2017 starting with a Mass of Christian Burial DIRECTLYat St. Matthews church, 216 Scribner Ave, Norwalk, CT. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, 81 Riverside Ave,Norwalk, CT.
