I am so saddened to hear about Carmen. She worked with us at Elias Howe School
for many years. She was very professional and talented, especially as a seamstress.
I can remember she made beautiful multi-cultural vests and caps for our Black History
shows. She was an asset to our staff and a pleasure to work with. My prayers are
with her and her family for peace and strength.

Carmen will be missed by the former Elias Howe School. She worked tirelessly at Elias Howe for many years. Carmen would create and design clothing for the children for cultural performances.
