Dear Elsie/Marcus and Nerieda it is with a profound sadness and heavy heart that i address the passing of my dear brother Izzy i in truth learned much from him especially as a young man and later on in life to be sure i spoke to him about this but he insisted it was the other way around i have known as they say the famous and not the famous and i can well assure you not one of them will ever hold a candle next to him he was an example of true courage with a warrior,s heart and a humble spirit full of love for his wife family and fellow man strong in faith and trust in god my journey in the MARTIAL ARTS has been a long one and continues to be one and at this point it is one of peace and understanding along with a dose of love and a keen eye all having i a begining with a right cross and knock out yep guess i have long way to that humility of dear IZZY who will always be in my heart and spirit of a human being and a will to live and enjoy life with the love of my children always in the bosom of my heart and my lord in the love of jesus and in final m y sincerest admiration of keeping this family together my dear ELSIE god has a most special place for you in his heart Sincerely, Louis ECHIE SAN Echavarria,

Izzy was part of my family since I was a young child. I still remember your visits to my father's (Pablo) home when I was young, with that welcoming kind smile. The family used to joke that Izzy and my father were more like brothers than best friends and at times a old married couple lol.
Izzy's family, please know, he was so loved by many. He definitely held a special place in my heart. As I got older, I didn't see him often but when I did, he always brought a smile to my face. He will be sadly missed. I love you Izzy..... Baby

My deepest sympathy to the Family of my best friend. I want to thank my best friend for over 45 years of always being there when I needed him. We have been thru the good and the bad times. I will miss our weekly visits, and the 11:00 horn beeping to let me know you were here to pick me up for our stop to Duncan Donuts, and other errands we had to run. I will miss our trips to the car shows and our annual visit to Lake Compound. My wife and I will truly miss you when we travel, you were our GPS. You will always be with me and in my heart.

Ismael my brother in Christ. You inspired me so much when I was young with your heroic acts in the Army that I decided to join myself and it was a great decision. I thank you for your patriotic service and your unselfish acts serving this country. The boxing lessons you gave my brothers and I in your basement were priceless. I always looked up to you since you composed yourself always as what I consider the perfect gentleman. You will be missed but in my heart I know I will see you again. Elsie, I pray you find peace in your heart during this difficult time. The Lord is with all of you. Don't ever forget it. He will never abandon or forsake you. His peace and comfort is surrounding you every step of this drenching experience. Hang on to the faith that Issy proclaimed because that is your inheritance.
A few weeks ago he showed me a Bible that my father, Armando, gave him when they worked together at the factory. He enjoyed talking about how he turned his life around when he accepted Christ and how he would read the Bible at work breaks with my dad. Thank you Lord for Issys testimony of courage and faith.
