Rufino Romero, Age 84, currently of Westbury, New York passed away into the glorious presence of the Lord on April 15, 2017 in Nassau University Medical Center, in East Meadow, New York; Rufino was born in Salinas, Puerto Rico before moving to the United States some time ago; He is the beloved husband of Olga Romero (Medina); in addition to his wife he is also survived by his sons Elivin Mejias, Luis Mejias, Roberto Mejias, Miguel Mejias, Rafael Medina and Luis Medina; His daughters Lillian Torres, Lissette Mejias, and Jeanette Romero; and a host of other relatives and friends whom will dearly miss him. friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 6-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 East Washington Ave., Bridgeport; Funeral services have been scheduled for Wednesday, April 219, 2017 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home followed by interment in Park Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT; Please sign our online Register book and Memorial Webpage where you may share your thoughts, memories, prayers, pictures and so much more and is found EXCLUSIVELY at www.luzdepaz.com
