Obituary of Alexandria Hawkins

Alexandria Hawkins, age 89, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 10, 2017 in her residence, Trumbull, CT. Alexandria was born in Bridgeport, CT to the late George Chapar and Mary Barber. She had a passion for baking and was known for being an excellent cook, for a short period of time she owned a wedding cake business. She is survived by her son Michael Hawkins (Debra Hawkins) of Trumbull; her daughters Sandra Thomas from California, and Linda Tritch (Ray) from Pennsylvania; her sister Ann Marshall ; her grandchildren Heather, Weston, Aaron, Rachelle, Chelsey, Timothy, and Tyler; her great-grandchildren Sophia and Sebastian; and a host of other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly. Friends are invited to accompany the family to the Funeral Service on Thursday, April 13, 2017 from 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the Trinity Baptist Church, 300 N Benson Road, Fairfield, CT. Interment will follow at Mt. Grove Cemetery, 2675 North Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.
