This time last year we lost the most amazing women in the world.
The love and knowledge you shared with all your children, grand children and great grand children will stay with us forever.
You have left an empty space in our hearts and each and everyday we think of you.
From being a strong brave person you became fragile and I'm so grateful I was able to take care of you from time to time like you took care of me when I was little.

I spent alot of time with mama Libia till she was 90 to 100, she was very lucky to have reached up to 100 but every person has an ending in their life.
Mama Libia made me laugh alot when we were in Peru, and mostly all the time I had to help her come up and down the stairs.
Even though mama Libia's lucky I'm lucky too because I spent alot of time with her and now I still have memories of the good times.
There is no need to miss mama Libia because she is always going to be with us.

Mama Libia you were the best great grandmother to me. You always coloured and did cross word puzzles with me, you were the one that inspired and taught me how to draw and colour properly with many techniques. You always made sure you told no one about me eating lollies without anyone knowing you always put your finger to your lips showing me it was a secret. You would always tell me stories even though half the time I didn't understand but I just kept smiling and nodding. You would always take my Barbies and play with them but never give them back along with my big fluffy llama that you loved. You never got annoyed when I kept kissing you, you just kept laughing. You let me hold onto the back of your cart while I skateboarded. You were always there to see what I was doing even when it was only watching TV. You will always be in my heart.

Mama Libia you were a great grandmother even though you took our toys at times without us noticing we will miss you a lot. I will miss the times when you were left alone for a little while on your wheelchair, because I liked spinning around with you. Even though you spoke only Spanish and I only English I would always say Si and then look at you for your reaction and then sometimes said No till you smiled. When we ate our food we would always race to see who finished first and you always won. When you were not on your wheelchair I liked to go on it for a spin. I will miss you for the rest of my life… …..adios mama Libia

Wow what an amazing 100 years you have lived!!!
And Iam so privilidge to have shared 32/100 years with you.
You and papi Fidel took care of us when we were little and you taught me so many things from sawing to cooking.
You shared so many stories from your past with me, which I will never forget and pass down to my daughter.
Watching you age was amazing!!! you were stronge and so caring towards us.
I will miss your smile,laughter and especially your fingers moving when you wanted me to come closer to you.
With tears running down my face and getting stuck with words as I start to remember all the time we spent together and relise that not even distance kept us apart!!!!
You saw me grow up and was there at my wedding with Marc which meant alot to me having the people that I love the most celebrating a special day with me.
It's so hard to say good bye to you. I wanted you in my life forever.
But your time has come and I'm glad you are now resting in peace with no pain or worries.
Will miss our small Skype conversations we used to have..who would have thought 100 years old and keeping up with technology!!!
I am so happy Mariah also got to spend quite a bit of time with you too.
Celebrating your 100th birthday was amazing an event that will be cherished for forever!!!

Mama Libia, I do not say goodbye but simply see you later for I know one day will meet again. I try to be happy knowing you are now resting and reunited with your dad and your loving husband (papi Fidel). Finally no more worries and no more pain.
You have lived an amazing life...from the sinking of the Titanic till the release of the new iphone 5. But none of this ever mattered to you...the only thing that mattered was to be together as much as possible.
As I look back at all our photos I realised that distance could never keep us apart, we have shared many family gatherings, airports, Christmas's and welcomed many New Years. I was privileged to celebrate your last Christmas with you and together we welcomed 2012, not to mention our last dance on your 100th birthday party. Memories, which I will cherish for the rest of my life.
Christmas has always been important to me because of papi Fidel and you Mamita…I will miss your presence in the next christmas's to come but I know that you will be with us always in spirit.
I wish you could have stayed with us forever and ever, but that's just me being selfish. It was your time and you needed to go but in my heart you will always stay.
I have learnt so much from you and received unconditional love only a grandmother can offer. You were there when I was born and were there for me during the birth of your great grandchildren. My children have been blessed to know you and enjoyed you. All the colouring ins, puzzles and games you shared will be cherished and not forgotten .
I only hope to have a fraction of your strength during this hard time. But if I have learnt anything from you, it is that as long as we are together as a family anything is possible and 'enfermo que come no muere'.
Loving you always and forever my beautiful mamita, come and visit me as often as you can.
