Obituary of James Austin

James A. Austin, age 70, of Bridgeport passed away into the peaceful presence of the Lord on September 13, 2012 in St. Vincent's Medical Center . He is the beloved husband of Norma Jean Austin.  He is survived by his children Kelvin and his wife Nannette, Christopher and his wife Ladacia, Karen and her husband Craig, Lori and her husband James, Orlanda and her husband Tyrell, and Rochelle; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, loving family and other relatives and friends who will sorely miss him. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, September 18 , 2012 from 5-7 P.M. at Summerfield United Methodist Church (110 Clermont Street, Bridgeport, CT) followed by the Service at 7:00 P.M. Funeral services have been scheduled for a Departure to Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport from the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT promptly at 9:30 A.M. on Wednesday, September 19, 2012; The lining up of vehicles will begin at 9:00 A.M .
