Obituary of Gloria Ester Acosta

Gloria Ester Acosta, age 70, entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 31, 2016 at St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport, CT. Gloria was born in Morovis, Puerto Rico to the late Salvador Negron and Herminia Visalden. She is survived by her beloved husband Hector A. Acosta; her son Jose L. Semiday; her daughters Lillian Gonzalez, Adivelisse Negron, Ruth E. Colon, and Aida Colon; her siblings Eliezer Negron, Maximo Negron, Juan Negron, and Daniel Negron, Lucy Ruiz, Maria Feliciano, and Marta Negron; thirteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly. IN addition to her parents she is also predeceased by her daughters Luz M. Colon and Maria Negron. Friends are invited to attend Calling Hours on Friday, November 4, 2016 from 6 - 9 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home) 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT. Funeral Services have been scheduled for Saturday, November 5, 2016 starting with a Service at 9 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Park Cemetery, 620 Lindley Street, Bridgeport, CT.
