Obituary of Mary Cotto

Mary Cotto, age 61, of Bridgeport passed away into the peaceful presence of the Lord on Saturday, August 25, 2012 in St. Vincent's Medical Center; Mary was born in Jersey City, NJ to the late Felix Santiago and the late Elisa Montanez before moving into the Bridgeport area many years ago. She is the beloved wife of Pablo A. Ayala with whom she most recently celebrated their 35th anniversary together. In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughter Maria E. Reyes of Bridgeport; her sons Felix Reyes of Waterbury, Jose Cotto, Alex Ayala and Jose J. Ayala all of Bridgeport; her brother Anthony Diaz; her sisters Carmen DelMonte, Luis Guzman, Linda Rivera, Diana Diaz and Lucy Gutierrez; five grandchildren four great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends who will sorely miss her. She was predeceased by her siblings the late Yolanda Diaz, the late Teresa Diaz, the Late Samuel Diaz, the Late Miguel Diaz, the Late Rafael Diaz and the late Phillip Diaz; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 4256 E.
