Obituary of Wilfredo Hernandez

Wilfredo Hernandez, age 75 of Bridgeport, passed into eternal rest on Friday, April 22, 2016 at Bridgeport Hospital. He is the loving husband of Emma R. Hernandez. He was born in Camuy, Puerto Rico prior to relocating to the Bridgeport area many years ago. Wilfredo was an ardent Mets fan. He is the caring father of Elsa Hernandez, Wilfredo Hernandez, Jr.; Antonio Hernandez, Emma Hernandez, and Miriam Hernandez; the adoring grandfather of 21 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends whom will dearly miss him. He was predeceased in death by his daughter, Jacqueline Hernandez. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 from 11 a.m. -1 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT.
