Obituary of Jose Rodriguez, Sr.

Jose Rodriguez, Sr., age 69, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at his residence, Bridgeport, CT. He was the beloved husband of Elba Rodriguez. Jose was born in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico to the late Manolo Rodriguez and the late Francisca Rodriguez. In addition to his wife he is also survived by his sons Jose Rodriguez, Samuel Rodriguez, and Noel Rodriguez; his siblings Juan Rodriguez, Elmer Rodriguez, Luis Rodriguez, Samuel Rodriguez, and Lito Rodriguez; thirteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 from 7-9 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home) 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT. The Funeral Service has been scheduled to take place on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. His burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Bridgeport.
