Obituary of Carlos Amaya

Carlos M. Amaya, age 27, of Bridgeport passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord suddenly on Saturday, August 18, 2012 in his home; Carlos was a lifetime Bridgeport resident who had attended and graduated from Bridgeport Public Schools; A loving heart of gold, caring father and husband who would go to any lengths to makes sure his family was taken care of, best describes this wonderful young man; He is the son of Mirciades Amaya and Lizzette Chamine of Bridgeport; In addition to his parents he is survived by his beloved wife Yvonne L. Amaya of Bridgeport; his son Carlos M. Amaya Jr.; daughters Jordan L. Amaya and Nijean Mercer; brothers Merciades Jr. and Christian; Sister Jennifer, Ana, Lizzette, Megan and Caitlin; and a host of other relatives and friends who will sorely miss him. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, August 23, 2012 beginning at 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT; Funeral services will follow in the Funeral Home at 1:00 P.M.
