Obituary of Jose Lopez

Jose M. Lopez, age 80, of Bridgeport passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord on Thursday, August 16, 2012 in Astoria Park, Bridgeport, CT; Jose is the son of the late Luis Ruis and the late Emilia Lopez Galindo; Jose was born in Cuba but had relocated to the Bridgeport area many years ago. He was raised by his beloved grandparents the late Angela Lopez Galindo and the late Francsico Lopez; He had been employed for many years at the Second Metal Factory where he retired from, but when first moving to the United States from Cuba in 1981 he was employed as a server in the food service industry. He is survived by one daughter currently residing in Cuba by the name of Mayte Lopez; Here in the United States he was survived by wonderful friends with special mention to Gudelia Alicea and her family who he appreciated and considered them all family of his. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, August 20, 2012 from 6-9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E.
