Obituary of Jose Calderon

Jose Calderon, age 70, beloved husband of Minerva Calderon of Bridgeport passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord on March 3, 2016 in Bridgeport Hospital. Jose was born in Ciales, Puerto Rico before moving into the Bridgeport since the late 1950's; Jose was a very talented landscaper whose green thumb was amazing bringing life to every plant around him. In addition to his wife, Jose is survived by his son Jose Calderon, Jr.; daughter Luz Calderon and Brenda Lara and her husband Mario; His grandchildren Jose Torres, Glenda Torres, Sandro Cedeno, Bruce Lara and Elizabeth S. Lara; His sisters Ana Rodriguez, Maria M. Calderon, Aida Calderon and Ricarda Calderon; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends whom will dearly miss him. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, March 7, 2016 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E.
