Obituary of Angel Luis Escalera

Angel Luis Escalera, age 68, currently of Deltona, FL, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 4, 2016 in his residence. Angel was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico to the late Jose Ramon Escalera and the late Pasquala Cruz. He is survived by his children Hector Escalera, Rosario Escalera, Angel Escalera, and Nathaniel Escalera; his siblings Josephine Escalera, Sonia Garcia, and Aida Escalera; his grandchildren Seth Escalera and Angelia Ortiz; and a host of other relatives and friends who will sorely miss him. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT. Interment will follow right after at the State Veterans Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown, CT.
