Obituary of Aida Hernandez

Aida L. Hernandez, age 78, passed peacefully into the presence of the Lord on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at her Bridgeport residence while surrounded by her loving family. Aida is the daughter of the late Jose Antonio Flores and the late Juana Ocasio. She is survived by her daughters Elizabeth (Elvis)Perez, Nancy Hernandez, and Carmen Hernandez; sons Edwin Hernandez (Jackie), Pedro Hernandez (Tammy Conlogue), Freddie Hernandez (Maria Margado), and Miguel Hernandez; her siblings Margarita Valderrama, Maria Ocasio, Teresa Franco, Isabel Burgos, Pedro Martinez, and Miguel Marquez; her grandchildren Anibal Mendez, Danny Hernandez(Ashley), James Bulerin, Jr. (Elizabeth), Jermaine Bulerin, Naila Wcislo (Chaz), Pedro Hernandez III, Bobby Hernandez, Joshua Hernandez, Alex Hernandez, Jeremy Hernandez, Niko Hernandez, Jose Nieves, Jocelyn Ramos, Jasmine Cruz, Ashley Hernandez, Erica Hernandez, Jason Hernandez, Shamika Hernandez, Meilen Hernandez, Efrain Hernandez, Jr., Jasmine Hernandez, Amanda Hernandez, Lynisha Sheffey, and Tyisha Hernandez; her great-grandchildren James Bulekin III, Jalissa Bulerin, Alanna Rodriguez, Ava Wcislo, Brandon Bulerin, Leah Bulerin, Jaycob Bulerin, Aaron Hernandez, Kyli Hernandez, Jeremiah Hernandez, Noah Hernandez, Israel Garcia, and Elijah Otero; her long time companion Jaimie Acosta; and a host of other relatives and friends whom will dearly miss her. In addition to her parents she is also predeceased by her husband Pedro Hernandez, Sr., her sons Tony Hernandez and Efrain Hernandez; her grandchildren Shonda Bulerin and Carlos Rodrigues;her siblings Jose Ocasio, Heriberto Flores, Victor Ocasio, and Juana Escolera. Friends may attend calling hours on Thursday, February 11, 2016 from 7 - 9 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT. Funeral Service have been schedule for Friday, February 12, 2016 starting at 9:00 a.m at the Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Park Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT.
