Obituary of Marianita Diaz

Marianita Diaz, age 62, of Stratford, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 24, 2016 in Bridgeport Hospital while surrounded by her loving family. Marianita was born in Isabela, Puerto Rico to the late Mariano Vargas and the late Providencia Rosa. She is the beloved wife of Gregorio Diaz. In addition to her husband she is also survived by her sons Pedro Lopez (Marcie), William Ramos (Jennifer), and Oscar Diaz (Alyssia); her daughters Claribel Rosado (Victor), and Brenda Lopez; twenty six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends that will sorely miss her. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E.
