Obituary of Francisco Collazo

Francisco Collazo, age 80 of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 8, 2016 in his Bridgeport residence while surrounded by his loving family. Francisco was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico to the late Pura Collazo. For many years he held a security guard position at Family Services Woodfield (FSW), he was always so proud and content to work for them. He is the beloved companion of Carmen J. Hernandez. Francisco is also survived by his sons Frank Collazo and Freddie Collazo; his daughters Odette Collazo- DelValle, Jannette Collazo, and Luz Ortiz; many siblings; sixteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends that will sorely miss him. He is predeceased by his daughter Nancy Castillo. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT. His interment will follow at Park Cemetery, Bridgeport.
