Obituary of Jose Rivera

Jose J. Rivera, age 61, from Bridgeport has passed into the Presence of the Lord on August 5, 2012 in his residence. Jose was born in Jayuya Puerto Rico but moved o the Bridgeport area many years ago. Jose is the son of the late Ernesto Rivera and Ramona Rivera of Bridgeport; He is the husband of Socorro Medina; In addition to his mother and wife he is also survived by his son Jose Rivas; his daughters Maria Rivera, Elizabeth Cordero, and Mayra Diaz; and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss him. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 from 11 A.M. -1 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E.
