Obituary of Luis A. Mercado

Luis A. Mercado, Sr.- age 77, of Bridgeport has passed into eternal life on December 25, 2015 in Bridgeport Hospital. Luis was born in Puerto Rico but had relocated to the Bridgeport area many years ago; He is survived by his beloved wife Nicolasa Diaz; He is the father of two sons Raymond Mercado and Luis Mercado, Jr.; three daughters Luz Y. Colon, Maria Mangual and Daisy Mercado; Grandfather of 24 and great grandfather of many more; He was predeceased by his sons the late Tomas Colon, The Late Jorge Colon and the late Pablo Colon; He will be sadly missed by all. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 from 6-9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 East Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT; Funeral services have been scheduled for Wednesday, December 30, 2015 beggining at 10:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home followed by interment.
